Overview The Senior Analyst, Supplier Insights provides critical analytical support for key strategic projects and the development of strategy and insights initiatives across the organization’s supplier partners. This role is responsible for compiling and analyzing data from a variety of internal and external sources, developing actionable insights, and supporting the creation of effective business strategies that support supplier initiatives. The position reports to the Senior Director of Supplier Insights and works closely with the Director and other team members across the Strategy and Insights team pillars to deliver high-quality analytics that drive profitable growth and performance across the SGWS footprint.

Primary Responsibilities

Compile and analyze data from multiple sources (internal and external) to develop actionable supplier insights

Lead monthly category reporting that blends data from multiple industry data sources, such as Nielsen, SipSource, and SGWS proprietary tools

Create ad-hoc analyses and reports to support SGWS’ supplier portfolio

Conduct deep-dive analyses on category trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics

Support the development of shopper and consumer insights that translate into commercial strategies

Develop customer/account modeling and analysis, including segmentation, channel strategy, and ROI

Support the Senior Director and Directors on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives

Collaborate across the Commercial Intelligence team to develop strong analytical capabilities while leveraging SGWS tools and technologies

Support department-wide insights projects that drive standardization and efficiencies

Assist with the Strategy & Insights team's support of executive presentations, including preparation for Supplier Top-to-Top meetings, internal leadership meetings, and Supplier QBRs

Work with the Office of Strategic Management and Supplier Insights Team on analytical insights, forecasts, and tools as directed by leadership

Develop compelling data visualizations and presentations that effectively communicate key insights

Present analytical content to senior leadership, regional teams, and other stakeholders

Maintain high standards for data accuracy and presentation quality

Support insights monthly reporting with consistent, high-quality deliverables

Proactively identify commercially relevant industry analyses that can be leveraged across the organization

Extract key learnings from historical data and develop actionable insights independently

Maintain predetermined standards and advise on new methods to improve analytical approaches

Influence performance-based culture through the development of analytics, tools, and technologies

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness

Support the implementation of best practices for data management and analysis

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related field

3-5 years of relevant analytics or business strategy experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex data manipulation and analysis

Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualization techniques

Experience working with multiple data sources and analytics platforms

Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed

Ability to travel domestically up to 25% if required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the beverage alcohol industry

Knowledge of syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, IRI, or Numerator

Proficiency with Business Objects, Tableau, or other BI tools

Experience with shopper insights or consumer analytics

Understanding of category management principles

Strong project management skills

Background in commercial strategy or business analytics

Experience presenting to senior leadership

Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends

May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
