Role We are looking for a Senior Decarbonisation Specialist to support our growing Japan business. This role will play a critical part across pre-sales, client advisory, delivery quality assurance, and thought leadership, while also contributing insights to product development. You will report to the Head of Growth and work closely with the Japan GM, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Carbon Data Analysts (CDAs), and Marketing.

Client Advisory & Post-sales support | クライアントアドバイザリー & ポストセールス支援

Partner with prospective and existing clients in Japan to deliver high-impact carbon accounting, reporting, and decarbonisation strategies

Support pre-sales activities by providing subject matter expertise, client-facing presentations, and advisory input during sales cycles

Lead and facilitate client workshops related to climate reporting, emerging regulations, and evolving protocols (e.g. GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi)

Build trusted client relationships and ensure customer success

Represent Terrascope at industry events, webinars, and thought leadership forums in Japan

Guide data analysts on best practices in emissions measurement

Conduct quality assurance reviews of emissions measurement outputs and climate-related deliverables

Provide hands-on delivery support for key Japan accounts as needed

Collaborate with Sales/CDA to support account retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities through strong advisory engagement

Actively contribute to Terrascope’s market positioning as a trusted decarbonisation partner in Japan

You’ll be a great fit if you have | 応募要件

Professional-level Japanese and conversational to professional English communication skills

3+ years of experience in sustainability, climate consulting, or related advisory roles

2+ years of hands-on carbon accounting experience, including Scope 3, using GHG Protocol or equivalent standards

Experience delivering or supporting climate-related reporting and/or transition planning (e.g. CDP, TCFD, SBTi)

Strong consulting skillset with proven client-facing experience

Industry and supply chain expertise in one or more of the following sectors: manufacturing, apparel and footwear, transport, buildings, chemicals, cement, steel
