Project Designer / Project Executive
Environmental Graphics Architectural Wayfinding + Environmental Graphics Nashville, TN OTE $100K+ (Base + Commission) We are a design-build architectural signage company expanding our wayfinding and environmental graphics division. We’re looking for a client-facing Project Designer who can lead design strategy and manage projects from concept through installation. This role blends design leadership with project ownership. You will guide developers, architects, and owners through wayfinding systems, branded signage programs, and implementation — supported internally by a Designer Assistant and Project Coordinator. This is not a production-only role. This is ownership. What You’ll Do
Lead wayfinding strategy and sign system development Present design concepts confidently to clients Manage scope, schedule, and client communication Oversee code compliance (ADA and life safety) Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams Identify opportunities to expand design scope What We’re Looking For
Strong architectural design sensibility Experience in wayfinding, signage, or environmental graphics preferred Comfortable leading client conversations Organized, proactive, and commercially aware Adobe Illustrator proficiency (CAD knowledge a plus) Understanding of materials and fabrication methods Compensation
