We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee a multifamily build-to-rent development now underway in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Job Summary

The Construction Superintendent will be the on-site leader responsible for managing daily field operations of a multifamily construction project. This includes overseeing all site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and to specifications. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with high velocity single family or multifamily construction experience, strong leadership skills and the ability to make timely, good decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the Project Manager and Construction President. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction operations with construction management team for one or multiple jobsites from groundbreaking through project closeout Open and secure the site; Maintain a clean, organized and professional jobsite Monitor schedule progress, adjust as needed and enforce critical path timelines Schedule, supervise and inspect work performed by subcontractors and vendors Maintain daily logs, photographs, and reports to document progress and issues Conduct pre-construction, weekly subcontractor and safety meetings Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, schedule, and quality standards Manage material submittals, RFIs, change orders, and as-builts Walk each structure daily to inspect quality, identify deficiencies and ensure timely correction Conduct daily site safety inspections and enforce company safety policies Identify and resolve field issues quickly to maintain production flow Coordinate required inspections; attend compliance and public safety inspections Ensure construction meets plans, specifications and company standards Perform quality control duties and oversee punch lists Validate workmanship and material quality before handover Communicate progress updates, schedule conflicts and on-site changes Coordinate subcontractor schedules to align with project timelines Review and approve subcontractor work for payment based on completion and quality Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily or residential projects Must reside within 20 minutes driving distance of Santa Fe, New Mexico Valid driver’s license with a clean record; travel will be required Proven track record managing vertical construction from foundation to final punch Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination and safety compliance Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, scopes and shop drawings Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills Proficient with basic construction technology tools and field reporting apps OSHA 30 certification is preferred GB 98 License is preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Compensation and benefits: Competitive salary based on experience; Health insurance coverage; Paid time off and company holidays; Monthly vehicle and phone allowance; Opportunity for performance-based bonus; Supportive work environment with strong leadership and growth opportunities
