The Advancement division at Dartmouth is seeking a key partner to join our Alumni Experiences team. Our
Assistant Director of Alumni Experiences
will play an important role in delivering high-impact programming and events that connect alumni to the College and to each other. Responsibilities
Serve as a core member of the Alumni Experiences team, turning connection opportunities into memorable events. Plan and execute events such as reunions, homecoming, alumni council activities, and related programs from concept to inception. Develop engagement strategies and bring them to life, engaging and motivating volunteers and fostering a community that is positive and diverse in experience and background. Collaborate with colleagues and volunteers to deliver high-quality event experiences and align work with broader engagement goals. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in event or program management. Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring flexibility, organization, and teamwork. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, connect people, and ensure attention to detail contributes to an exceptional experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other software tools; experience with Office is considered a plus. Location and Work Setup
Dartmouth’s campus is located in Hanover, NH. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a combination of onsite and remote work, and we’re seeking candidates within commuting distance. Role Context and Resources
