Overview
King Global Ministries is a mission-driven STEAM nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas. We restore human capacity under stress so people can reliably learn, work, and function after prolonged adversity.
Who We Serve
Many adults impacted by long-term hardship are capable and motivated, yet struggle to consistently access their skills when pressure is high. When the body remains in survival mode, training, credentials, and effort alone are often not enough. Our work focuses on restoring regulation capacity first—the foundational condition that allows existing abilities, learning, and follow-through to function.
How We Serve
We deliver inclusive, non-evangelistic, evidence-informed programs designed for broad public participation. Our integrated STEAM program portfolio includes ForestRx™, a nature-based capacity restoration program; W.I.L.D. Love Hiking, which supports applied learning and shame interruption once capacity is restored; access supports that address technology and math barriers; and arts-based initiatives that reduce shame and restore dignity at the community level.
Our Focus
King Global Ministries does not provide therapy, treatment, or job training. Instead, we focus on upstream capacity restoration—creating the conditions that make learning, reliability, and participation in everyday life possible.
Role Overview
We are seeking a
Volunteer Social Media Coordinator
to help implement our weekly social media calendar by posting content that has already been created. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, storytelling, and sharing meaningful content — without needing to create strategy or original content from scratch.
The strategy, calendar, themes, and content direction are already established.
Your role is to help us bring it to life consistently.

Upload and post hike photos, short videos, and reels provided by the team
Follow an existing weekly content calendar and series themes
Write or lightly edit captions using provided prompts and templates

Add hashtags and tag locations or partners as instructed
Ensure posts are published on time and aligned with the ministry’s tone
Communicate with the Executive Director regarding content timing or questions
Time Commitment
Approximately 2–4 hours per week
Flexible schedule (content can be scheduled in advance)
Ideal for someone who wants consistent but manageable volunteer hours
Ideal Volunteer This role is a great fit for someone who
Enjoys social media but doesn’t want to be a “strategist” or content creator
Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Is comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, or scheduling tools (or willing to learn)
Appreciates faith-centered, wellness, or nature-based content
Wants to support a mission-driven organization in a practical, behind-the-scenes way
Students, career-switchers, creatives, and digital ministry volunteers are welcome.
