Social Marketing Assistant
to support our marketing initiatives — primarily social media content creation, management, and email formatting. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through digital content, has an eye for design, and stays current on social trends. You’ll work directly with the Marketing Director to execute our monthly content plan so they can focus on larger strategy and brand development. Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Content Creation
Create and schedule social media posts for Instagram and Facebook using existing brand templates and assets. Edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, In-Feed videos, YouTube Shorts) using TREO’s video clips from listings, team outings, or community features. Keep abreast of social media trends — researching trending audio, formats, and styles to keep content fresh and relevant. Create batch content and use CoSchedule to schedule posts, ensuring consistent posting cadence and brand alignment. 2. Email Campaign Support
Format and build monthly email newsletters in Squarespace using content provided by the Marketing Director. 3. Graphic Design & Template Creation
Design marketing templates (guides, postcards, flyers, social media templates) using the Team TREO brand kit in Canva. Collaborate on new creative ideas for downloadable guides, event flyers, and social media graphics. Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, Reels/TikTok editing). Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Instagram Reels, or similar). Proficiency with Canva (required); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Understanding of current real estate or lifestyle marketing trends preferred. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization. Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines independently. Highly detail-oriented, with a strong eye for brand consistency and accuracy across all deliverables. Proactive and self-motivated – able to take direction from the Marketing Director’s strategy and calendar, then independently execute tasks and manage deadlines. Organized and process-driven, comfortable following established SOP’s and maintaining structure in recurring workflows. Creative thinker who stays up to date on marketing and social media trends.
