Responsibilities
Promote and sell memberships and services
Learn to give quality tours according to the goals and interests of our members
Scan member cards and greet by name
Build relationships and retain members
Answer member questions in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner
Attend paid trainings and meetings and learn new skills
Work with a team to make a lasting difference in your community
Light cleaning, washing/folding towels, making coffee, stocking cups and creamer, and making our members feel valued and appreciated
Schedule will be approximately 10 to 29 hours per week depending on the needs of the branch
Give quality tours to potential new members
Promoting and selling memberships as well as other YMCA programs (e.g., swim lessons, youth sports, personal training, etc.)
Being knowledgeable about program offerings and proactively looking up accurate information online or through internal systems when needed
Giving quality tours tailored to the interests of prospective members
Greeting members by name and scanning members in
Building relationships and helping retain members
Providing prompt, friendly, and professional service
Multitasking in a fast-paced environment while managing front desk responsibilities
Participating in paid trainings and team meetings
Performing light cleaning duties and helping with hospitality tasks (e.g., making coffee, folding towels, stocking supplies)
Supporting your team to create a positive and engaging environment
Qualifications
Provide positive outlook and experiences

Ability to manage multiple priorities
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Professional customer service and communication skills
Responsible for quality and accuracy
Ability to learn new programs quickly
Proficient with Microsoft Suite and web navigation
Creative and innovative
High school diploma or GED
Bilingual helpful, but not required
