Mayer Fabrics is seeking a creative and motivated
Marketing Assistant
with a strong interest in graphic design to join our Marketing team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience while supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, sales initiatives, and tradeshows. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist to bring ideas to life through on-brand visual design across print and digital platforms. Responsibilities
Design and produce print and digital marketing materials (brochures, sell sheets, signage, presentations, promotional assets) Execute creative direction while learning brand standards and best practices Create and update partner materials and flipbooks Support product launches and internal presentations with visual assets Assist with website updates and email visuals Design sales support materials and fulfill sales team requests Support major and regional tradeshows, including HCD, BDNY, and NeoCon Qualifications
What we’re looking for: Interest in graphic design and marketing with a strong eye for detail; ability to take direction, apply feedback, and stay organized; collaborative, dependable, and eager to learn; internship, tradeshow, or event experience is a plus but not required Skills & qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign required); Familiarity with Microsoft Office; WordPress and email platforms a plus; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field; Some travel required, including one major tradeshow in Chicago Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $47,800 - $54,000 annually 401(k) with employer match Health insurance Employee Incentive Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays Supportive, team-oriented environment within a family-owned company Equal Opportunity Employer
