Health and Wellness membership reimbursement of up to $75.00 per month (paid monthly) Fun team atmosphere Position Overview: The Parts Counter Trainee will work closely with an experienced Counter associate. In this role, you will learn the sales process by working with customers face-to-face or over the phone. The Parts Counter Associate will be trained to handle retail and wholesale parts sales and to ensure customer inquiries are addressed promptly. The Parts Counter Associate ensures every customer leaves with a positive impression of their overall parts experience at the dealership. Essential Functions: Assistwalk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the entire product line Pull purchased parts from stock If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit a particular order if requested by the customer Answer phone calls, providing price quotes, and other information Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up Assist Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in the process Who You Are: You are a team player who can work effectively with a team and independently when required You can work efficiently and effectively, with a strong sense of urgency You have exceptional communication, organization, and follow-up skills that result in a unique customer experience You are comfortable working on iPads and computers Meeting or exceeding productivity and service standards is a priority, and you have a strong attention to detail When under pressure, you maintain a positive attitude with customers, peers, and management You are reliable with a proven work ethic, and attendance is a priority You are looking for an opportunity to grow your career in the automotive industry Requirements: Be able to lift 25 lbs Must be at least 18 years of age Possess a valid driver’s license and a favorable motor vehicle record Able to pass a pre-employment background check Authorized to work in the United States Who We Are: Berlin City Auto Group is a family of dealerships throughout Maine and Vermont.
