Job Description Direct Sales Agent Specialist
(Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This role drives sales and builds and retains a book of business within the market/retail location. It is responsible for attracting and generating new customers and cross-selling existing customers, supporting product offerings including but not limited to Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. This role sells to walk-in customers, markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits, creating community relationships to promote growth and assists customers in the office.

Responsibilities
Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside of the office via calls and in-person visits.
Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell existing customers.
Build and maintain community relationships to promote growth (car dealerships, local events, community organizations, etc.).
Initiate outbound calls to established target customer base for product offerings.
Monitor local market competition and suggest initiatives to improve market position.
Partner with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve goals.
Deliver optimal results within metrics such as quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, ensuring compliance with rules and standards.
Understand and stay current on company underwriting guidelines and policies.
Receive customer payments, issue receipts and verify reports of receipts for cash drawers.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: 0–2 years of experience.
P&C licensing (preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell/retention of customers.
Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active presence in the community.
Strong outbound calling and lead generation capabilities.
Keeps informed on competitors and contributes to initiatives to improve market position.
Compensation Base compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Total Compensation:
In addition to base, total compensation may include incentive pay (commissions and bonuses) based on individual and team performance.
