Regional Sales Manager - Nebraska/Iowa | Field-Based
A client of ours is looking for Regional Sales Managers to grow and support customers across assigned regions within the food processing and packaging industry. This role focuses on developing strong plant-level relationships, serving as a trusted resource for parts and equipment needs, and driving consistent revenue growth through consultative selling.
You’ll spend most days in customer facilities building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and coordinating with inside sales to deliver accurate quotes and solutions. Travel is a core part of the position, including routine overnight stays depending on territory coverage.
What You’ll Do
Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory
Build long-term relationships with food processing and prepared foods manufacturers
Serve as primary contact for parts purchasing and problem-solving
Visit customer sites regularly to understand needs and identify opportunities
Submit accurate product and equipment details for quoting
Maintain schedules, contacts, and activity in CRM
Prepare weekly call reports and submit expense documentation
Participate in company and customer events as needed
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of sales experience (industrial experience a plus)
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Comfortable spending significant time in the field and traveling
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Valid driver’s license
Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
