These new API sites will be built using the latest high-tech equipment, advanced highly integrated and automated manufacturing systems, and have a focus on minimizing the impact to our environment./ppWhat Youll Be Doing:/ppYou will be part of Tech@Lilly MQ (Manufacturing and Quality), an organization that drives manufacturing operational excellence and productivity efforts through utilization of technology. Tech@Lilly MQ strives to enable the making of medicine with safety first and quality always./ppThe Associate Director for MQ Tech@Lilly will be part of the IT Leadership team for the new API Sites in either Texas or Virginia. This role will report to the MQ IT Sr Director for LP1. This role will work hand by hand with both project and operational readiness activities for the facility./ppHow Youll Succeed:/pulliEnsure site operational readiness from IT perspective. Site start up and integration of IT systems including:/liliInfrastructure/liliEnterprise Resource Planning/liliWarehouse management logistics coordination/liliManufacturing Execution System/liliData historian, Real Time Floor Tracking/liliData Integration/liliData Analytics/liliData Integrity/liliLaboratory information managements/liliCAPA systems/liliAccess Security/liliBuilding Monitoring/liliRisk Management/liliMES (Manufacturing Execution System)/liliMember of the Site Leadership Team and provide IT site functional leadership./liliDevelop and implement site IT strategic and business plan./liliBenchmark on innovative solutions (external and internal to Lilly)/liliDynamically adapt road map to site evolution/strategic directions, and new trends/issues./liliPartner cross functionally locally and globally to establish and implement site IT roadmap./liliResponsible for maintaining a safe work environment./liliPeople/liliEnsure staffing to meet the site and functional agenda./liliLead, coach, and develop members of the team./liliEstablish a strong site culture based in Lilly values, expectations, and operational excellence standards./liliSupport diversity, equity and inclusion in recruiting and development of team members/liliLead recognition, pay and promotion decisions./liliLead talent assessment and succession planning activities/liliSupport site recruiting building IT capability./liliCompliance/liliProvide leadership in the development and execution of cGMP and/or improvement plans within the IT function and in support of site cGMP improvement plans./liliDefine and execute IT inspection readiness activities./liliOperational Excellence/liliEnsure IT organization is functionally strong and operationally focus./liliEnsure solution focused organization./liliProvide prioritization and barrier removal./liliProvide oversight of technical activities within the group/liliEffectively encourage knowledge sharing and education/li/ulpBasic Requirements:/pullistrongEducation:/strong Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering or related field/lilistrongExperience:/strong Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Leadership, with a experience of successfully overseeing multiple projects/lilistrongKnowledge:/strong Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs. Including MES, Data Integration and Analytics/liliExperience in Pharma and GMP Manufacturing/li/ulpAdditional Preferences:/pullistrongExperience:/strong Experience leading IT groups in programs/projects in the pharmaceutical business.
