The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency: demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers and driving results. Responsible for upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, building on-going customer relationships through a personalized experience, and leaving a positive, lasting impression.
Responsibilities
SALES FLOOR
— Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions that align with Company priorities; takes ownership and delivers results while tracking personal and store metrics; develops personal sales and clienteling strategies with management; creates short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals; owns personal survey results and builds plans for improvement; represents Coach as a brand ambassador; demonstrates Coach’s Selling and Service expectations at all times; understands changes in local market and supports local sales strategies; drives business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining productive relationships; communicates fashion awareness and knowledge of competition; provides in-depth product knowledge, features, benefits, current offerings and overall product value; communicates current pricing and promotions; discusses product features and cross-sells effectively; tailors approach to customer needs; attends to unique shopping needs of each customer; works with multiple customers, follows up consistently, and uses selling techniques to contribute to store results; builds lasting relationships and clienteling with Coach tools; creates enthusiasm for a shared vision and promotes a team selling environment; fosters teamwork and collaboration with internal and external customers; remains solution oriented and adaptable; welcomes feedback and maintains a calm, professional demeanor.
OPERATIONS
— Completes daily tasks without impacting service or Coach standards; maintains store, backroom, cash wrap and visual merchandising to Coach standards; keeps selling floor clean and organized; adheres to POS, Operations and Asset Protection procedures; replenishes inventory on the sales floor as needed; supports inventory processes, processes shipments, stocks shelves, replenishes floor and maintains organization; supports cash-wrap for purchases, returns and exchanges; efficiently processes customer transactions; assists with organizing functional areas and maintaining visual merchandising expectations.

Qualifications
Experience:
1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment; current knowledge of fashion trends and competition.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Technical:
Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (using iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet), walkie talkie usage, read price and product release sheets.
Physical:
Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively; maneuver the sales floor, stock room and shelves; climb, bend and kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds for shipments or transfers.
Schedule:
Ability to meet scheduling and availability expectations, including nights, weekends and holidays with high retail traffic.

Base Pay Range
$15.00 TO $20.00 per hour. Tapestry complies with minimum wage requirements and applicable pay laws based on city, county, and state regulations.
