The Strategic Account Manager, Multi-family is responsible for increasing market share and driving profitable growth within the multi-family housing segment by creating differentiated value for key decision makers. This role focuses on building and sustaining trusted, long-term relationships with national and regional developers, owners/operators, asset managers, and other influencers to shape specifications, influence buying decisions, and expand the company’s presence across new construction, renovation, and MRO opportunities. By leveraging deep market insight, a consultative selling approach, and cross-functional collaboration, the Strategic Account Manager develops and executes account strategies that align customer priorities with the company’s full portfolio of solutions. The role is accountable for accelerating growth through strategic partnerships, increasing share of wallet within targeted accounts, and delivering measurable business outcomes for both the customer and the organization. Core Responsibilities

Account Development & Management: Build and nurture relationships with top owners, developers, designers, and influencers in the multi-family community. Account Development & Management: Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to drive specifications, brand preference, and revenue growth. Account Development & Management: Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions to each account. Account Development & Management: Lead RFPs and negotiations to retain and secure future business. Project Influence & Specification Support: Identify and track key projects in early design phases; influence specification decisions to favor company products. Project Influence & Specification Support: Deliver product presentations, CEUs, and design consultations. Project Influence & Specification Support: Provide project support from concept through construction administration. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and account plans that include market analysis, key account strategies, revenue goals, and measurable outcomes. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and manage account-specific plans—setting retention/new business goals, product spec recommendations (faucets, sinks, accessories), and executing strategic initiatives like customer events. Strategic Planning & Execution: Analyze data/trends to derive insights that boost customer retention and drive revenue. Strategic Planning & Execution: Secure new product specifications and expand existing business opportunities to drive profitable growth and increased market share. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Support marketing initiatives, tradeshows, and product launches aligned with the multi-family segment. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with project sales, regional sales, distribution, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide Voice of Customer feedback to product development and marketing teams. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (MBA preferred). Minimum 5 years of sales or sales management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — adept at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical capabilities to assess market conditions and craft strategic responses. Solid understanding of marketing, finance, and operations. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting business demands. Willingness to travel ~60%. Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial interiors, residential design, or multi-family & hospitality segments. Experience selling building products, home improvement products, flooring, doors, fixtures, or other durable goods into multi-family projects. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms. Proven success managing long sales cycles and complex accounts. CEU delivery certification or experience preferred. Skills & Competencies

Compensation: Delta Faucet Company Full-time. Hiring Range: $103,700.00 - $163,020.00 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
