
Overview
This role sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting. This position is full-time and will work out of two locations: Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah, WI and Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac, WI. Training Pay is $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks. Estimated first-year earnings range: $50,000 - $75,000. Uncapped commission and earnings. Responsibilities
Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise. Assist families with funeral selections and attend services as needed. Generate and manage leads through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Coordinate with two office locations to support clients and services. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; related education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred. 1 year of sales experience preferred. Valid driver\'s license and access to a personal vehicle; offsite appointments and community events are included. Mileage reimbursement provided. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook); experience with a CRM is preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written). Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment; discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed. Benefits & Compensation
