
Sales Account Manager – Southern CA, Las Vegas and Phoenix Area

We are looking for a dynamic local candidate in the southern California area with previous experience in the Industrial Automation Industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Sales Account Manager to lead the development of a new, undeveloped territory. This is a unique opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives in building a market from the ground up and brings established industry relationships to accelerate growth. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the management of sales and relationships with customers and distributors for the Industrial Automation Business Unit utilizing CKD USA's current U.S. based support network. This position will support customers in Southern California, Las Vegas and the Phoenix area.
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for launching and expanding our presence in a new geographic or vertical market. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and capable of independently developing new business while laying the foundation for long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to establish our presence in a new, untapped market Leverage existing professional relationships and networks to generate immediate sales opportunities Identify, pursue, and close new business with target accounts Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer experience Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company capabilities and goals Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to leadership Meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives Qualifications & Experience
At least 5 years of proven Sales Account and Business Development Management with strong technical experience in the fluid power sales industry. Demonstrated experience developing new markets or territories. Established relationships and professional network within the target industry or region Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of pneumatic components. Experience working with Tier 1 & Tier 2 Suppliers. Prior experience in an international & multicultural work environment is a plus.
