Must-Have Qualifications
Current (or eligible) Registered Nurse license in the practicing state required
Minimum seven years of healthcare experience with at least three years in a leadership role
Bachelors degree in Nursing required; advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, MBA) strongly preferred
Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred
Proven experience coordinating quality initiatives with measurable outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with regulatory agencies in an acute care environment preferred
Position Summary
The Quality Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of organizational quality, including compliance with regulatory agencies, disease-specific certifications, patient satisfaction, public reporting, and national quality designations. This role includes managing, developing, and mentoring staff, enforcing policies and procedures, maintaining accreditation, and managing the quality budget and productivity. Direct reports include teams responsible for disease-specific programs and infection prevention. Minimum Education
Bachelors degree in Nursing required
Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, MBA) strongly preferred
Minimum Experience
Seven years of healthcare experience with a minimum of three years in a leadership role
Experience in program development, budgeting, productivity, and clinical operations
Strong interpersonal and human relations skills required
Experience in a for-profit hospital environment preferred
Licensure
Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state required
