Business Development Representative
to help fuel the firm’s continued national growth. This role partners closely with attorneys, marketing, and leadership to expand relationships, elevate the firm’s visibility, and generate meaningful business opportunities. Overview Merlin Law Group is a national insurance claim litigation firm that handles commercial property insurance claims, residential property insurance claims and bad faith claims. We are dedicated to helping policyholders protect themselves in complex legal battles and fighting for the best laws to protect the insured nationwide.
What You’ll Do
Drive business development initiatives including events, conferences, speaking engagements, and referral-source partnerships.
Build and nurture strategic relationships with referral partners and industry influencers.
Collaborate with marketing to strengthen the firm’s brand, thought leadership, and market presence.
Identify and coordinate speaking and visibility opportunities for attorneys.
Track outreach, relationships, and results in the firm’s CRM.
Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic decisions.
Support firm leadership on high-impact business development projects.
Travel is expected
for conferences, events, and relationship-building activities (including occasional evenings and weekends).
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations (professional services preferred)
Prior experience in a law firm or consulting environment strongly preferred.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and writing skills
Comfort managing multiple initiatives and deadlines independently
CRM experience (HubSpot a plus)
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
