Position Summary
Regulus Global is seeking a C6ISR Business Development / Sales Manager to lead opportunity identification, capture, and growth across U.S. Government customers and global Foreign Military Sales (FMS) markets. This role is responsible for building and executing business development strategies that convert operational requirements into awarded programs supporting U.S. and partner-nation missions.
This is a hands-on, on-site position in Virginia Beach requiring significant international travel to engage customers, ministries of defense, program offices, integrators, and partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Growth
Identify, qualify, and develop C6ISR opportunities across:
U.S. Government customers (DoD, combatant commands, program offices, supporting agencies)
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and allied/partner-nation defense organizations
Build and manage a robust BD pipeline aligned with Regulus’s defense technology portfolio.
Conduct customer engagement, requirement shaping, and solution positioning domestically and internationally.
Represent Regulus Global at international engagements, industry events, and customer meetings.
Capture & Proposal Leadership
Lead or support capture activities including:
Opportunity qualification and win strategy development
Partner and OEM teaming
Competitive analysis and pricing inputs
Support proposal development efforts with solution narratives, customer value propositions, and compliance inputs.
Coordinate closely with technical SMEs, operations, and leadership to ensure executable, mission-aligned solutions.
Partnerships & Solution Development
Develop and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, integrators, and regional partners supporting C6ISR and adjacent technologies.
Align customer requirements with Regulus capabilities in networking, cyber, ISR, counter-UAS, EW, IT infrastructure, and autonomy.
Support FMS-related solution development with awareness of export, delivery, and sustainment considerations.
Transition to Execution
Ensure smooth transition from contract award to execution, maintaining customer confidence and program continuity.
Support follow-on growth, program expansion, and long-term customer relationships post-award.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in defense business development, sales, or capture, with emphasis on C4ISR/C6ISR or mission technology.
Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. Government and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) opportunities.
Proven ability to build pipeline and advance opportunities through capture and award.
Strong customer-facing communication and briefing skills.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Ability to work on-site in Virginia Beach, VA.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following:
Tactical or enterprise networking
Cybersecurity
Counter-UAS or electronic warfare
ISR, unmanned systems, or mission IT
AI/ML-enabled defense or autonomy solutions
Existing relationships with:
DoD program offices or operational commands
Partner-nation Ministries of Defense
Defense OEMs or system integrators
Familiarity with international defense sales, FMS processes, and global program execution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
