Job Summary
We are seeking a hospitality centric Field Marketing Specialist to support a multi-site, dynamic portfolio (NC, VA, KY, and SC). This person should be based near the High Point, NC area and open to Charlotte based candidates as well. This is an on-site role with regular travel to site operations (40% travel; company car provided). The Field Marketing Specialist will demonstrate an in depth understanding of our food & beverage operations and serve as an essential partner in driving excitement for and engagement with our Canteen dining programs.
Key Responsibilities
Support on-site dining operations by planning and executing localized marketing initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and revenue
Collaborate with culinary teams, operations managers, and unit leaders to promote menus, seasonal offerings, and special events
Develop and deploy marketing materials including signage, digital displays, promotions, and point-of-sale collateral aligned with brand standards
Coordinate and support promotional events such as tastings, grand openings, themed meals, and wellness or sustainability campaigns
Gather insights from the field to inform marketing strategies, including guest feedback, sales trends, and competitive observations
Ensure brand consistency and messaging accuracy across all dining locations within the assigned territory
Partner with corporate marketing and operations teams to execute national or regional campaigns at the unit level
Track campaign performance and provide post-event recaps, including recommendations for improvement
Manage timelines, logistics, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives
Serve as a marketing liaison for dining operations, ensuring alignment between operational goals and marketing efforts
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Minimum BA or BS degree in relevant field (Marketing / Communications preferred)
Experience: 3+ years experience in marketing within the retail industry or food & beverage / restaurant environment
Proactive with the ability to identify and capture growth opportunities; able to think creatively and strategically
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and WordPress
Organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented with focus on guest/client experience
Excellent interpersonal skills including public speaking and client interaction
Strong writing skills with proper grammar and spelling
