
Overview
Senior Multimedia Designer at Kaplan. The role involves conceptualizing branded designs for websites, digital media, social media, video, email, presentations, sales collateral, events, and corporate marketing materials. The position is highly creative, conceptual, and strategic, with responsibility for guiding campaigns and projects, presenting work to stakeholders, and sometimes handing off projects to other team members. Primary Responsibilities
Conceptualizes and designs creative campaigns and artwork that meet strategic business objectives and brand guidelines Leads the team to develop creative that wows stakeholders and clients Ideates and designs meaningful user experiences, ensuring the visual design communicates the desired message and functions across varying technical specifications; when necessary, extends beyond the brief to improve functionality and user workflow Develops effective methods to communicate messages across print, digital, video, and social media using color, typography, illustration, photography, animation, and layout techniques Maintains proficient knowledge of our brands and products and stays current with trends in technologies and design practices across media Manages quality of work throughout all project phases and ensures delivery to expectations Leads and directs multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and stakeholder expectations Understands project workflow, digital file management, and backup systems Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, visual communications, or graphic arts Minimum 8 years of experience crafting and designing campaigns, email, print marketing material, presentations, digital ads, websites, and social media assets, including responsive/mobile Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Acrobat Pro) Strong sense of composition and conceptual thinking Excellent problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with strong self-motivation, organization, and communication skills Collaborative across teams and departments in a remote environment with regular video calls Committed to continually improving skills and staying current with industry trends, sharing knowledge with others Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, and CSS Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Gemini, Veo 3, ElevenLabs) is a plus Experience with ExactTarget is a plus Familiarity with Asana project management system is a plus Compensation and Benefits
