Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer at DDK KITCHEN DESIGN GROUP, INC., located in Chicago, IL. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee and execute design projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities include creating construction drawings, executing space planning, selecting finishes and FF&E, and collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality designs. The role involves ensuring designs align with client needs and project budgets while maintaining the company’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts
Proficiency in drafting Construction Drawings and a solid understanding of Architecture
Experience in selecting and specifying FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
Strong communication and collaboration skills for client interaction and teamwork
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or other applicable tools
Knowledge or experience in kitchen design is highly advantageous
