The Director of Client Relationship Management is responsible for overseeing and enhancing client relationships within the retirement services sector. This individual will oversee a team of Client Relationship Managers and report directly into the Regional Vice President. This role requires a deep understanding of retirement products, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of client relationship managers and support staff to improve client engagement and service delivery. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes client satisfaction and teamwork.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for client engagement and retention. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional retirement services to existing clients.

Market Analysis:

Stay informed about trends and developments in the retirement services industry to provide insights that enhance client offerings. Conduct regular assessments of client satisfaction and feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Training and Development:

Organize training sessions for staff on retirement products, client management techniques, and industry best practices. Promote professional development opportunities for team members.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all client interactions and service delivery processes comply with industry regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with client engagement.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of work experience in group retirement plan industry as a Client Relationship Manager Knowledge and understanding of corporate/group retirement plans 403(b), 401(k) and 457. Knowledge of retirement plan design, investment monitoring, plan administration, compliance testing and enhanced understanding of retirement plan rules & regulations. Excellent business writing, presentation, and public speaking skills Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day Active FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE or must be obtained within the first year of employment Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within first year of employment Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications

The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.
