Talon Recruiting has partnered with a growing dealer of construction and material handling equipment in search of a General Sales Manager to lead their team in Southern California. Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a multi-location heavy equipment dealership in Southern California. The General Manager is responsible for all Sales Leadership and coordinates, service, rental fleet, inventory, and forecasting while maintaining best in class standards. The General Sales Manager will collaborate with the President and OEM team to grow market share by reaching established sales and service targets. Requirements
Knowledge of heavy equipment, proven success with managing a sales team, forecasting and business planning. Ideal candidate will have a track record of relationship building and account management, quantifiable history of meeting and exceeding sales goals, outstanding track record of leading others, influencing decision and making a positive impact. Education
bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar field with selling capital goods, equipment rentals and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a management capacity including budgeting and cost containment. Compensation
