Technical Sales Specialist – Volume Graphics ***Candidate must be located in CT or ET Time zones*** Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support and grow our customer base for Volume Graphics software. About the Role The Technical Sales Specialist will lead consultative sales engagements for our Volume Graphics software suite. This individual will work directly with customers to understand application requirements, deliver tailored software demonstrations, and guide prospects through the evaluation and procurement process. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and support teams to ensure customer success across pre- and post-sales interactions.
Job Responsibilities
What You\'ll Do Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop tailored solutions that enhance customer productivity. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value of Hexagon’s solutions. Work closely with customers to understand their engineering challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Support the sales process by providing technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including proof-of-concept projects. Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive adoption of Hexagon’s Volume Graphics solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Volume Graphics capabilities and competitive differentiators. Provide feedback to product management and R&D teams based on customer needs and market demands.
Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in technical software sales, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of industrial CT scanning, non-destructive testing (NDT), or 3D imaging technologies preferred. Demonstrated experience in solution-based sales and understanding of complex customer applications. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical value into business impact. Comfortable working in a remote environment and managing time and tasks independently. Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits, trade shows, and team meetings.
Work Environment
This is a remote role primarily performed from a home office. Occasional travel is required to attend customer visits, industry events, or internal meetings. Regular communication via video conferencing, phone, and email. Prolonged periods of sitting, viewing a screen, and using standard office equipment. Occasional lifting of presentation materials or trade show kits (up to 25 pounds). Home office must have a stable internet connection to support software demonstrations and customer meetings.
