
The Worship Coordinator is responsible for partnering with and supporting the Worship Leader in planning services, leading teams, and executing effective worship across weekly worship services. Additionally, this position requires musical ability, a servant heart for people, intuitive leadership skills, organization, adaptability, problem solving, a collaborative mindset, and most importantly, a servant heart for Jesus Christ. The Worship Coordinator follows and upholds the mission, vision, and values of Lutheran Church of Hope.

1+ years worship leading
OR 3+ years worship experience
Proficient in singing – melody and harmony Proficient in acoustic guitar and/or piano Ability to learn and navigate Mac and Windows operating system Effective communication skills, written and verbal Ability to run a rehearsal with a full band Ability to lead solo from piano Experience with Ableton Live, ProPresenter, and Planning Center
Not required, but highly favorable.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the Worship Leader in worship services including, but not limited to:
PowerLife & Ignition services (Wednesday nights) Student Ministry Special Events (Worship nights, retreat worship, Christmas party) Weekend services (Saturday evening and Sunday morning) Special events (holidays, worship nights, adult ministry, classes)
Coordinate and lead all worship components of services
Be prepared and on time to facilitate and lead band rehearsals
Encourage the musical and spiritual development of volunteers
Walk alongside, pray for, and support volunteers on the team
Engage with congregants in and out of worship Dress appropriately for the job and services you’re leading Other duties as assigned by Worship Leader Personal Performance Criteria
Strive to live a Christ-centered life with a personal relationship with Jesus Desire and actively pursue spiritual growth (Mark 4:20) & musical growth Ability to manage, prioritize, and boundary ministry with personal/family life Flexible, self-motivating, multitasking, and organizational skills Contribute to a positive work environment Grow positive relationships with Hope Grimes staff, students, and volunteers Demonstrate honesty and integrity Handle conflict with confidentiality and grace (Mathew 18:15-17) Be punctual and honor weekly schedule (listed below) Social media : post in a way that represents Lutheran Church of Hope; be sensitive and aware of thepeople you are leading and the influence you have over them Hours: Part Time 10hrs/week on a rotating schedule (see below) Duration:
