Padres Baseball & Softball Camps Site Director – Rancho Bernardo / North County Inland, San Diego, CA Padres Baseball Camps is now hiring a Site Director for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County. We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide the leadership that will help campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for personal accountability. We have multiple positions for our baseball and softball camps, including Coach to Site Director, for ages 4 through 13. Work outdoors with young campers and connect with others who share similar interests. Earn bonus pay for certain commitment levels and be eligible for free Padres home game tickets. Participate in our end-of-summer rally at Petco Park. Core Qualifications
Is an experienced leader, self-starter, and excellent communicator Is passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children, families, coaches, and the local community Has experience working with children ages 4-13 Has experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher Has a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way Is able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting Is acutely aware of both physical and emotional safety, with the ability to problem-solve in real time Leads by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude Is dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what Provides candid feedback to team members to help them grow personally and professionally Knows how to have a lot of fun Core Responsibilities
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers to deliver a high-quality camp experience Execute Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games Highlight teachable moments for campers and coaches to learn and grow, and encourage fun each day Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to uphold Padres Camps reputation Qualifications for the Site Director
Be prepared to make a 10-week commitment, Monday–Friday, approximately eight hours per day Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability May be responsible for driving a rented cargo van and ensuring a safe parking space (Padres Camps covers fuel for work/camp use only) Be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations Camp Locations include
