The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Titans ancillary social media accounts, leading strategy implementation on those accounts/areas, and upholding brand standards across those accounts/areas. This includes the Titans Cheer (Blue Crew Drumline and Majorette) platforms, Mascot T-Rac, Titans Community (Cause Marketing), and any other entity under the Titans Entertainment arm. This role will live within the Titans Brand and Creative team and report to the Social Media Manager. This individual will have a deep knowledge of social media, be an empathetic collaborator, and have a passion for content creation and social storytelling. This role will serve as the primary publisher and community manager for all the Titans ancillary social accounts. Publish day-to-day content across all organizationally affiliated social accounts, including Titans Cheer, Mascot T-Rac, and Titans Community. Assist in creating the brand identity for all ancillary Titans social accounts and help guide the social voice, tone and messaging in alignment with brand/business goals Ensure brand standards and consistency are upheld on Titans ancillary social accounts Work with the Social Programming Manager to establish, operate and oversee the content calendar for ancillary accounts to ensure deadlines are met and performance is strategically optimized. Collaborate with all arms of the creative team (video, photo, design, and project management) to request, plan and execute content - making sure Titans ancillary social accounts are properly accounted for and integrated into larger objectives Oversee and own content planning, workflows, copy proofing, and publishing across Titans ancillary social media channels Assist in live coverage on game day and event days including content capture and creation Attend community events, mascot events and cheer events to capture real-time social video coverage Work closely with corporate partnership team to develop and pitch new ideas for sponsored content in a way that is engaging to Titans fans Explore any/all new and emerging platforms that could be utilized by the team Stay on top of emerging social media trends and consistently integrate new opportunities for the organization’s social presence Contribute to department team effort by collaborating internally to help achieve broader objectives, bringing positive attitude and strong work ethic to help the Titans become a best-in-class social media content team Consistently promote a culture of collaboration and accountability Requirements – What you will bring
Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field required Experience 1-3 years of experience in social media/content management Strong understanding of internet culture and emerging social media platforms/trends Experience with social content tools (e.g. Slate) Comfortable working within a content management system Thrive in a team setting where it is required to work and interact with several different departments on a daily basis Ability to work within strict deadlines, under high-pressure situations and comfortable multi-tasking independently Problem solver that can see the larger, strategic picture while not losing sight of the day-to-day details Strong copywriting, communication, time management and organizational skills Must be driven, enthusiastic and a creative team player motivated to create high-caliber content Passion for helping the Tennessee Titans become a best-in-class social media content team within sports and entertainment Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
