We are seeking an experienced Business Development representative to own and drive Corporate Membership renewals and New member sales within the Corporate Membership Division. The ideal candidate is a disciplined salesperson who is motivated by performance goals, comfortable with accountability, and skilled at selling recurring, subscription‑based offerings. In addition to thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑volume sales environment, this individual excels at written and verbal communication, and is highly organized, proactive and adept with technology. Key Responsibilities

Own a defined portfolio of Corporate Membership renewals and new sales opportunities. Proactively manage renewal conversations as sales engagements, not administrative transactions. Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales and renewal targets. Confidently handle objections, negotiate, and close opportunities. Develop strong product knowledge to clearly and credibly communicate the value of SIA research and membership benefits. Conduct membership and platform overviews that align solutions to customer goals. Articulate membership value through clear, compelling written and verbal communication. Maintain full ownership of opportunities throughout the sales cycle using NetSuite CRM. Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and follow‑up. Operate with strong organization, prioritization, and sales cadence. Partner with Research Analysts and internal teams to support member success and retention. Represent SIA professionally in all member interactions. Participate in SIA-hosted industry events and conferences as needed. Represent SIA at events to drive brand visibility. Qualifications

BS or BA. 5+ years’ business development experience in B2B or professional services environment. High transaction subscription sales a plus. Proven track record of successfully meeting quotas. Experience working with CRM systems, digital platforms, or member portals (Salesforce or similar tools a plus). Comfortable interacting with all levels of business executives/business owners. A professional and courteous demeanor with a passion for delivering high‑touch member experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail. Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Comfortable working in a remote environment. Experience in the staffing business is a plus. Pay Transparency Disclosure
