Kosmos Q is building the future of BBQ. We're expanding our content team to elevate our brand across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. We’re seeking a creative, highly skilled visual storyteller who can help us produce compelling content that entertains, informs, and inspires.
Role Overview We're seeking a
Multimedia Production Specialist
who excels in videography, editing, photography and social media publishing. You'll be responsible for capturing content, producing both long-form and short-form videos, and actively posting and managing content across platforms.
Responsibilities
Capture high-quality video and photo content during events, interviews and daily operations to enhance our storytelling.
Communicate plans clearly and ensure all necessary elements are ready for filming, including writing scripts and setting up lighting/camera equipment
Produce and edit
long-form content
(e.g., YouTube episodes, podcast visuals).
Create engaging
short-form content
(e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Post and manage content across social platforms, following best practices for timing, captions and engagement.
Edit with platform-specific trends and visual formats in mind.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to shape our visual content strategy.
Maintain an organized file system and post-production workflow.
Requirements
Proficient in
video editing software
(Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
Skilled with
camera and audio equipment
(DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, mics, etc.).
STRONG understanding of
storytelling, pacing
and visual branding.
Familiarity with platform algorithms, posting times, hashtags and performance optimization.
Self-starter with the ability to manage timelines and content calendars.
Organized, detail-oriented and exceptional at taking a project from conception to implementation.
BONUS: Graphic design or motion graphics skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Portfolio or demo reel of relevant content.
Up-to-date on content trends, meme culture and platform features.
Passion for startups, community-building, and storytelling.
