
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across membership, events, education, and consumer awareness initiatives—including day-to-day social media execution. This is an onsite role at our Wheeling, IL headquarters.
This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing team—translating strategy and messaging into action by managing timelines, coordinating deliverables, executing social media schedules, and ensuring campaigns are launched on time and on brand. The Marketing Operations Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Membership and works closely with the Communications Manager, as well as internal teams, chapters, vendors, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for: NARI membership recruitment and retention Annual and regional conferences and events Education, certification, and workforce development programs Consumer awareness initiatives Maintain master marketing calendars, launch schedules, and campaign timelines Track campaign milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure on-time execution Social Media Management & Execution
Manage day-to-day execution of NARI’s social media channels, including: Scheduling and publishing approved content Coordinating campaign-related posts across platforms Monitoring comments, messages, and basic engagement Work closely with the Communications Manager to: Implement approved messaging and brand voice Adapt content for different platforms and audiences Support social media coverage for: Conferences and events (pre-, during-, and post-event) Membership campaigns and announcements Education, certification, and workforce development initiatives Maintain a social media content calendar aligned with campaign priorities Track basic performance metrics and provide reporting support Project & Workflow Management
Coordinate marketing projects from kickoff through completion Manage task assignments, timelines, approvals, and dependencies Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day campaign logistics Ensure consistent use of project management tools and marketing workflows Cross-Department & Chapter Coordination
Collaborate with membership, events, education, and chapter relations teams Assist with creation and distribution of chapter marketing toolkits Support adaptation of national campaigns for chapter-level promotion Vendor & Asset Coordination
Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers (design, print, digital) Track deliverables, timelines, and basic budgets Help organize and maintain marketing assets, templates, and files Reporting & Optimization Support
Assist in tracking campaign and social media performance metrics Support post-campaign and post-event reviews Help document processes, workflows, and best practices Qualifications
Required
3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, project coordination, or digital marketing Experience executing social media content calendars and scheduling posts Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns Strong attention to detail and follow-through Proficiency with social media management and project management tools Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred
Experience in an association, nonprofit, or membership-based organization Familiarity with event or conference marketing Experience working with chapters, affiliates, or volunteer leaders Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting Experience with CRM or association management systems What Success Looks Like in This Role
