Description Purpose of Role The Sr Events Specialist role ensures YCA Audio events are executed flawlessly, on time, and on budget, translating strategic objectives into high-quality, well-managed experiences that strengthen relationships and reinforce organizational credibility through disciplined planning, coordination, and execution. Key Accountabilities Include Ensure events contribute to business goals Ensure event components are within the approved budgets Ensure event stakeholder satisfaction Primary Responsibilities Include Leads the execution of tradeshow and customer-facing events Maintains annual events calendar Creates event performance reporting Interfaces with vendors and completes schematic and scope of work review Guide event materials and assets creation Coordinate event-related travel Report on event metrics Core Functional Competencies Event Management: Manage face-to-face and virtual events that enable contact between Yamaha and potential customers. Project Integration: Ensure that all project\'s work elements are coordinated, including project planning and execution processes Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage tasks and resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project Project Procurement Management: Acquire products, services, or results from an external source; include contract management and control processes necessary to administer contracts, properly manage the buyer/vendor relationships, and manage the project\'s obligations to the vendor Project Scope Management: Ensure all project work is included, while maintaining appropriate limits and control of the scope Core Behavioral Competencies Yamaha Way (Will, Integrity, Initiative, Challenge, Commitment) Customer Focus Decision Quality Plans and Aligns Collaborates Self-Development Situational Adaptability Qualifications Ideal Demonstrated success with project coordination Demonstrated success with executing small to large events Demonstrated success with project management Travel up to 30% Microsoft Office Preferred Experience with mid-to-scale tours or professional-level audio Compensation The hiring range for this position is $59,000.00 - $81,000.00 annually + bonus. This is the hiring range and does not include the value of benefits. The hiring range does not reflect total earning potential over time. Final offers within the posted compensation range are based on qualifications, skills and experience required for the role.
