Company Description
At Saatchi we believe in creating ideas that can live anywhere. And we believe that when we work as a team, nothing is impossible. We strive to bring out the best in each other and in ourselves and expect applicants to understand the value of close collaboration. We also believe that creating transformational work requires initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit and a bold commitment to achieving measurable results and business success for the Clients we service. Saatchi & Saatchi currently maintains a hybrid work policy to work in-office three days per week and remotely the other two days each week. Job Description
This is not a traditional job. This role centers on culture. We’re creating a brand-new position at Saatchi for someone who lives at the intersection of
culture, creativity, and execution.
You will be strategic in helping our teams — and our clients — stay meaningfully connected to a Gen Z / Young Millennial audience by translating real cultural insight into ideas that feel native, relevant, and worth engaging with. You are part
digital strategist , part
creator/maker , and part
cultural enthusiast . You don’t just understand youth culture — you participate in it. You know what belongs in the feed, what feels forced, and what will get ignored immediately. You can help concept platform-specific ideas and understand how to actually produce and execute them across paid, owned, and earned media. At the core, your mission is simple but ambitious:
help convince younger car shoppers that car ownership is still worth the headaches and anxiety — by making brands show up like insiders, not advertisers . Why This Role Matters This role exists to keep Saatchi — and our clients — connected to what’s next, not reacting to it late. You’ll help ensure our ideas feel like they belong in culture, not interrupting it. If you thrive in undefined spaces, move fast, and want a seat at the table shaping how iconic brands connect with younger audiences — this role was built for you. Responsibilities
What You’ll Do Partner and Connect : Collaborate directly with our Creative, Strategy, Media, and Client Service teams, acting as the essential cultural consultant and hands-on producer for all youth-focused initiatives. Spot & Steer Culture : Understand cultural insights and spot trends early, riding the wave before it peaks. Plug clients directly into youth culture with real-world credibility and trend-aware thinking. Platform Insights Specialist : Harvest a deep understanding of what makes content relevant for our audience, not just from a storytelling standpoint, but also based on specific platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.). You understand platforms as behavior systems and can spot emerging patterns before they are obvious. Create and Produce : Concept, shoot, write, edit, and publish content that aligns with our client’s brand identity. This requires a strong understanding of nimble video production and post-production processes. Stay Genuine : Be willing to share your point of view fearlessly and honestly, even when in opposition of other team members. Own the Work : Shepherd ideas from concept to live execution — quickly — ensuring the final product stays true to the original intent. Qualifications
Who You Are Culture Native : You’re already a part of the culture: an influencer, creator, curator, taste-maker, and meme linguist. Content-Driven : You live life in content mode. You don't need a brief to make content—just a vibe and a charged phone. Strategically Fearless : Authentic, unfiltered, and fearless with ideas. You have a deep understanding of how consumption occurs in feed-based social media environments. The Maker : Someone who can and will shoot, write, create, and design. A working knowledge of lo-fi creation and the ability to thrive in fast creative cycles is essential. The Trusted Voice : You have either sparked trends or your community trusts your taste and style. You’ve collaborated with brands—or roasted ads that missed the mark (we respect both). What Helps You Succeed Experience in social, digital content, or culturally driven marketing (agency or brand side) Understanding of nimble production workflows and post-production processes Strong communication skills — visual, verbal, and interpersonal Stays up to date on any emerging AI or creator tools, and looks for intentional, ethical ways to bring them into the workflow Ability to balance intuition with strategy Willingness to work flexible hours when culture (and content) demands it Additional Information
