Overview

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented

Social Media Coordinator

to support and grow our social media presence and influencer network. In this role, you’ll help bring our brand to life across video-first platforms like TikTok and Instagram, manage day-to-day social content, and support Brand Ambassador and influencer programs. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who’s plugged into social trends, loves content creation, and is excited to grow their career in social media and digital marketing. What You’ll Do

Develop social content across video-first platforms, i.e., TikTok, Instagram, that build our digital presence, drive engagement, and tell our brand story in a culturally relevant way. Create and schedule content on all company social media accounts with focus on Instagram and TikTok. Work with marketing team to gather content for evergreen and seasonal campaigns. Assist with art direction by providing suggestions and feedback to the creative manager. Execute final deliverables as directed by creative manager. Create, manage, and execute Social Media content calendar (including copy) in alignment with marketing calendar. Stay ahead of industry developments, creative trends, and culturally relevant events to push our social media efforts forward. Manage and coordinate influencer marketing activities in accordance with strategy set forth by the marketing director. Effectively communicate with influencers to develop campaign plans, execute campaign, and monitor/report on effectiveness. Assist with public relations efforts regarding new product launches and introductions. Monitor all social channels and comment on relevant content, respond to comments and DMs. Engage in active social listening and community management on Tombow’s social accounts, engaging with fans and answering questions. Assist with providing content to industry blogs with new product information, company updates, etc. Monitor competitor social media activities, benchmarking Tombow’s efforts against those of key competitors. Research media opportunities and recommend relevant pitch stories. Manage network of Brand Ambassadors and Student Brand Ambassadors, showcasing their work through use of social media to build demand for the Tombow brand. Actively grow Brand Ambassador and Student Brand Ambassador programs through recruitment efforts, relationship building/maintenance, managing product calendar, scheduling giveaways and cross promotional opportunities, submitting sample requests, and mail all related packages. Manage marketing sample inventory and supplies. What you bring

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2-3+ years of experience in social media, communications, or public relations Experience supporting or executing social media strategies with measurable results Art & Craft and/or Office Products industry experience a plus Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva Working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Collaborative team player Creative mindset with an interest in brand storytelling Active, engaged user of social media platforms We offer a supportive, collaborative workplace designed to help you do your best work.
