Overview
Padres Baseball Camps is hiring a Site Director for summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County. The Site Director will provide leadership to campers and staff, delivering the Padres Camps curriculum and ensuring a positive, safe, and engaging experience for ages 4 through 13.
We provide equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide leadership to help campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for personal accountability. Opportunities exist for roles from Coach to Site Director.
Work outdoors with young campers, share knowledge of baseball/softball, and make a positive difference in the lives of youth.
Core Responsibilities
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers, delivering the camp experience at a high level
Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
Highlight teachable moments and encourage fun each day of camp
Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to uphold the Padres Camps reputation
Qualifications for the Site Director position
Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day
Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability
At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van and having a safe space to park it (Padres Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van used for work/camp)
Be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball
Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations

Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview
Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our local market leader
Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director
Compensation Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,360 to $1,600 per week.
