role has two to four years of professional experience and ready to take on increased responsibility beyond entry-level work. In this position, designers contribute to both the creative and technical development of projects, producing design work based on conceptual direction and guidance from senior staff. Designer IIs manage their own assignments, work across multiple project phases, and operate in alignment with Rottet Studio’s design philosophy, standards, and work methods. Responsibilities
Support senior designers and project leaders in the development of design concepts Contribute across all project phases, including programming, space planning, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and construction documentation Prepare design presentations, renderings, and inspiration imagery Develop finish palettes, FF&E selections, and associated specifications; coordinate with consultants, vendors, furniture dealers, and contractors Produce design and technical documentation based on conceptual direction and senior staff guidance, including plans, elevations, details, and material selections Participate in client coordination and presentations; maintain clear communication with internal and external teams Manage assigned tasks and collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and deadlines Apply Rottet Studio standards and design approach Contribute to studio culture and ongoing career education Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design 2–4 years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design firm Working knowledge of industry-standard software, including:
AutoCAD Revit Adobe InDesign and Photoshop SketchUp
Experience with 3D modeling and additional design software is encouraged Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Compensation & Benefits
