We provide technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs.
We are seeking an atypical performer to join our sales team. They will sell our bank technology platform to financial institutions in a defined geographical region. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing new business and preferably a background in finance and/or financial technology sales. They will manage the entire sales process, which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities, securing meetings with prospects, delivering sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. Since the position requires understanding client needs and presenting complex solutions, excellent communication and listening skills are necessary. This individual will report to the Vice President, Acquisition Sales.
This position will be located at our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remote.
What You’ll Do
Identify and qualify key decision-makers (e.g., bank presidents, chief credit officers, chief lending officers).
Schedule and conduct meetings and product demonstrations (on-site and remote).
Consult with prospects to uncover needs and align Abrigo’s solutions to their strategic goals.
Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support.
Use Salesforce and integrated tools to manage pipeline, referrals, and reporting.
What You’ll Need
Minimum 5+ years in consultative sales, preferably selling to C-level executives in financial institutions
Familiarity with banking, lending workflows, and compliance practices is preferred.
The ability to understand and communicate technical solutions including API integrations, workflow automation, and analytics dashboards.
Proven success achieving sales goals selling to C-Level executives
Ability to source, identify, and develop new sales opportunities
Experience nurturing opportunities and closing the business
Ability to diagnose prospect needs and build relationships through a consultative approach
Excellent presentation, communication, writing, negotiation, and listening skills
Ability to quickly build credibility with an executive level audience
Willingness to travel between 25%-50% of the time
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
