Position Overview The Associate Director of Marketing is a key leadership position within the PharmaEssentia organization and responsible for the development and implementation of programs to maximize brand adoption. This role will contribute to development of the HCP marketing strategy and tactical plan for both disease state and brand. A key responsibility will also be to work cross-functionally with Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Business Analytics, Sales, and external vendors. This is a hybrid role with several days per week in the Burlington, MA office.
Key Responsibilities
Partners with Marketing leadership to help shape brand strategy, segment the market, develop messaging and launch into new segments
Directs the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans for marketed product and indications
Develops strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to support business goals
Partnering with Field Marketing, develop and maintain speaker program content and effectiveness
Lead development and execution of strategic ad boards with key stakeholder audiences
Effectively partner with cross-functional teams (medical, legal, regulatory) to successfully steer projects through the promotional review process
Ensures appropriate metrics are in place to measure impact of tactics in field
Leads and manages agency partners to ensure on budget and timely deliverables
Sets priorities to align with business objectives
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field.
7+ years of pharmaceutical marketing or related experience
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work cross functionally
Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Demonstrated fluency in articulating complex scientific concepts and data
Requires high sense of urgency with strong leadership and organizational skills
Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
Black Box product experience preferred
Strong understanding of the laws, regulations and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry
Requires travel, including weekend travel, up to 30%
The expected salary range for this position based on greater Boston, MA location is $160,000-200,000. Actual salary pay will be based on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
