What You'll Do
Be on the front lines of the machinery industry, forging connections and helping customers solve their equipment dilemmas.
Meet with clients face-to-face, share innovative solutions tailored to their needs, and build lasting relationships and loyalty.
Cultivate and manage customer accounts within the SW territories of our Cedar Rapids location, focusing on proactive account management and closing sales.
Use the CRM tool to log notes, calls, and meetings, and participate in trade shows and networking with clients.
Collaborate with a team that emphasizes creativity, determination, and customer-centric service.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
Problem-solving ability to propose innovative, tailored solutions.
Organizational and detail-oriented mindset for managing customer relationships and CRM documentation.
Proactive, adaptable, and motivated by market trends and competitor activity.
Construction industry experience is a definite plus.
Compensation and Benefits Typical pay averages for an outside salesperson at Rexco are around $120K, with potential for higher earnings based on performance. Top performers have earned $400K+.
