The Sales Manager leads and develops a small team of Sales Representatives and Sales Support team members while managing a limited portfolio of customer accounts. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is responsible for leading day-to-day sales execution, developing sales talent, and delivering results across team and account priorities. This position balances people leadership and hands-on account management, with approximately 35% of time focused on managing and growing assigned accounts, with the other 65% on strategic planning, coaching, performance tracking, and other management duties. This role requires a hands-on sales leader who can balance execution with leadership. The ideal candidate brings proven B2B sales leadership experience within outdoor living, hearth and patio, hardscape, pool and spa, construction, or related industries, and is comfortable working with dealers, distributors, contractors, retailers, and large, project-based customers. This position is preferred to be based in the Denver Metro area, working in our Englewood, CO office. Remote candidates within the United States will also be considered, particularly in regions with strong customer concentration. Approximately 10% travel for trade shows and customer visits is anticipated. Job Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and manage Sales Representatives and Sales Support team members (mix of onsite CO and remote US) to achieve individual, team, and applicable company goals. Contribute to the development of clear KPIs, sales, and performance goals. Structure and lead regular one-on-ones and team meetings to assess and review performance towards goals, skills development, idea sharing, and market analysis to effectively guide and motivate the team. Adjust meeting structure(s) and focus as needed. Monitor and track individual and team performance, analyzing results for regular reporting to leadership. Manage and grow assigned accounts, achieve individual sales goals, maintain strong customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and annual performance reviews with Sales Representatives, focusing on sales plan execution, implementation of KPIs and personal development plans. Provide direction and oversight for Sales Support staff to ensure timely, accurate, and effective support of the sales function. Serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to support customer satisfaction and sales execution. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Travel to customer locations as appropriate to deliver product training and strengthen relationships. Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market dynamics, sharing insights to leadership and the sales team. Qualifications

Proven sales leadership experience monitoring, managing, coaching and motivating sales professionals, ideally in a B2B environment. Experience analyzing pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity to drive actionable coaching, and deliver relevant reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership. Significant industry experience in outdoor living, hearth and patio, hardscape, pool and spa, construction, or related markets is required. Demonstrated success managing and growing key customer accounts. Experience selling B2B - through dealers, distributors, contractors, or similar partner-based channels. Proven experience balancing an account portfolio with people management and leadership. Strong communication, sales, coaching, and organizational skills. Willingness and ability to travel for trade shows, customer visits, and account support. Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools, including Microsoft Office applications. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation

The annual base salary range expected for this role is $110,000–$135,000 per year, depending upon candidate qualification and location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive pay, with an annualized target of $30,000. Actual incentive pay will be determined by progress towards achieving Sales Team goals. Full-time Schedule

Standard in-office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT. Hours may be adjusted as agreed during the hiring process to accommodate the employee’s time zone. This role requires flexibility to accommodate travel, customer engagements, trade shows, and other business needs. Job Location
