Join the Hunter Auto Group Team as Our Next Body Shop Parts Specialist! Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about keeping the repair process moving smoothly? Hunter Auto Group is looking for a Body Shop Parts Specialist to be the backbone of our collision center operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing logistics, and playing a key role in getting our customers back on the road safely! As our Body Shop Parts Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in managing inventory, sourcing high-quality parts, and ensuring our technicians have exactly what they need to deliver exceptional repairs. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the body shop technicians to ensure timely availability of parts. Review repair orders to determine necessary parts and materials for repairs. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess. Source and purchase parts from suppliers as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Manage returns and exchanges of parts as required. Track and manage parts receipts and deliveries. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues regarding parts orders or availability. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts room. Process warranty claims and handle parts warranty issues. Assist body shop technicians with parts identification and installation. What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in automotive parts or a collision center environment is preferred Strong knowledge of automotive terminology, body components, and repair processes Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced shop environment Proficiency with inventory systems (experience with DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS is a plus) High attention to detail to ensure part accuracy and order precision Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset Physical ability to lift and move automotive parts and supplies as needed A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for automotive excellence What We Offer
