We are looking for a seasoned Division Order Analyst in our Land department. This role is a hybrid of high-level analysis and teamwork. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of ownership interests and maintaining royalty compliance. You are the bridge between Land, Accounting, and our stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is paid accurately and on time while upholding our commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership & Title Analysis:

Lead the review of title opinions, lease agreements, and contracts to determine ownership interests. Resolve complex title issues and discrepancies with precision.

Financial Integrity:

Calculate and verify royalty payments, working interests, and overrides. Ensure all revenue distributions align perfectly with contractual and legal obligations.

Data Management:

Utilize software to maintain pristine records of ownership and revenue data.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Partner closely with Land and Accounting departments to resolve inquiries and streamline data flow.

Process Excellence:

Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize division order workflows and enhance department efficiency.

Compliance & Audit:

Lead audit and due diligence procedures, providing well-structured documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Relations

: Provide timely, professional responses to internal teams and external clients and operators to foster long-term loyalty.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Expertise:

Deep knowledge of division order processes, royalty calculations, and ownership allocation.

Analytical Mindset:

Ability to interpret complex legal documents and handle intricate numerical data without breaking a sweat.

Software Savvy:

Proficiency in division order software (e.g., Enverus/Oildex, Quorum, or WolfePak) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Energy Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5–7 years of Division Order experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Certifications:

CDOA, CPLTA, or CPL a plus.
