Role: Electrical Designer - Data Center Projects
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support large-scale data center projects, working on-site in Haskell, Texas. This role is focused on design validation and quality assurance rather than greenfield design, supporting execution teams during active construction.
The Electrical Designer will be responsible for reviewing and validating existing electrical designs to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements. This includes verifying electrical load calculations, cable sizing relative to distance and load, grounding, and overall system integrity. The role requires a strong ability to interpret design intent, identify discrepancies, and work closely with project and engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have prior data center project experience and be highly proficient in Revit. A strong background in electrical systems for mission-critical facilities is essential, with hands-on experience reviewing detailed electrical drawings and documentation in live project environments.
This is a full-time, on-site role with no rotation. The individual must be willing to remain within commuting distance of the project site for the duration of the assignment. The expected project duration is approximately 12 months, with potential to roll onto subsequent data center projects based on performance and project needs.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment and interfacing with both site teams and national project stakeholders.
