Overview Community, Serve Us, a fiscally sponsored project of the nonprofit KARMANT Learning, addresses a critical gap in the social impact ecosystem. Across humanitarian work, many nonprofits and community leaders serve the same populations but operate separately, resulting in fragmented efforts and duplicated work. Traditional media fails to provide an unbiased, 360° view of the issues and citizens lack a space to organize and share their solutions & skills in a meaningful way. Community, Serve Us is a centralized resource hub where citizens can discover trusted organizations and where nonprofits, foundations, and community leaders can collaborate to advance their missions together. The platform integrates nonpartisan 360-degree storytelling, immersive and VR experiences, live dialogue, and AI-powered data aggregation into a single interactive space. These tools help communities surface root causes, elevate underrepresented voices, and crowdsource actionable solutions.

We are seeking a Community Partnerships and Outreach Lead to help grow and activate our platform through strategic relationship-building. This role focuses on

Responsibilities

Identifying, engaging, and securing community leaders, nonprofit practitioners, subject-matter experts, and individuals with lived experience to participate in upcoming Community, Serve Us episodes

Identifying, engaging, and securing mission-aligned Influencers/Brand Ambassadors to promote our mission and content, while driving user engagement and conversion

Driving targeted outreach to potential platform users aligned with our mission

This is a relationship-driven role ideal for someone with strong networks (especially in local governments and non-profit organizations), exceptional communication skills, and a passion for humanitarian issues and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities (continued)

Identify, research, secure and help schedule diverse guests for upcoming Community, Serve Us episodes, including nonprofit and community leaders, experts, and individuals directly impacted by humanitarian crises

Build and maintain relationships with mission-aligned organizations, advocates, and community stakeholders

Research, identify and secure mission-aligned social media Influencers/Brand Ambassadors willing to promote our mission and content and engage with our site crowdsourcing tools, who have a strong following and are able to influence user engagement and conversion

Conduct targeted outreach to prospective platform users with a strong interest in Community, Serve Us’s mission

Help onboard and activate new users, encouraging meaningful participation in dialogue, storytelling, and crowdsourcing tools

Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with content themes and platform goals

Track outreach efforts, guest confirmations, and engagement outcomes to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in outreach, partnerships, talent booking, community engagement, or relationship-based roles

Strong existing networks within local government, nonprofit, humanitarian, advocacy, media, or social impact spaces

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to engage diverse stakeholders with empathy, professionalism, and purpose

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Passion for social impact and belief in community-driven solutions
