Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy that supports the company's overall business objectives
    • Lead and mentor a team of PR and communications professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence
    • Collaborate with senior management to align communication efforts with corporate goals and initiatives
    • Provide strategic counsel to executives on communication matters and potential reputational risks
  • Media Relations:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across various industries and platforms
    • Develop and implement proactive media outreach strategies to secure positive coverage and manage potential crises
    • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company, handling media inquiries and coordinating interviews with executives
    • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular updates and insights to the leadership team
  • Content Development and Brand Management:
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across various channels, including press releases, speeches, bylined articles, and social media posts
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communication materials
    • Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and protocols
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to align PR efforts with broader marketing initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, investors, and industry partners
    • Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events, press conferences, and other PR activities
    • Manage relationships with external PR agencies and consultants as needed
  • Measurement and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of PR and communication initiatives
    • Conduct regular analysis of media coverage, social media engagement, and other relevant metrics
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management on PR and communication activities, results, and recommendations
  • Industry Expertise:
