About The Role
We are bringing our Revenue Cycle Management in-house, and we are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to be a cornerstone of this new team. This isn’t just a ‘data entry’ role. You will be instrumental in helping refine and build our billing process from the ground up. We are looking for someone who is fueled by results!
Key Responsibilities
Full cycle billing including claim creation, submission, and follow-up for professional claims
Navigate the nuances of billing across multiple states, ensuring compliance with varying payer rules and state mandates
Handle billing for multiple types of services and ability to learn more quickly
Aggressively work denials, rejections, and appeals to ensure maximum and timely reimbursement
Accurately post insurance and patient payments as well as identifying and resolving credit balances or overpayments
Partner with the Director of RCM to identify bottlenecks and suggest workflows that improve team efficiency as we scale
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3+ years of full scope billing experience
Proven track record with professional claims
Experience billing multiple state is highly preferred
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and deep understanding of clearinghouses
Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding
Comfortable working in a ‘build-out’ environment where processes are being established in real time
Schedule & Location Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, in person in Lehi, UT. 6 paid holidays.
Compensation The Pay Range For This Role Is 20 - 30 USD per hour (KILN)
