About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its early childhood education center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and overseeing all aspects of the center's operations. This includes leading staff, guiding programs and curriculum, ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance, managing enrollment, and driving operational efficiency. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining the financial sustainability of the organization through accurate financial and operational reporting to the Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include program and curriculum management, staff supervision and leadership, licensing and compliance, family communication and support, administrative, financial, and operational duties, health, safety, and crisis management, quality improvement, and fostering a positive center culture. The role requires a hands-on approach to daily operations, including overseeing classroom activities, supporting teachers, and maintaining a visible and approachable presence for families and the community. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field, at least 10 years of operational leadership experience in early childhood education, and a proven track record in financial management and program growth. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, staff, families, and the community.
