Responsibilities
Lead the technical pre-sales lifecycle for US prospects, including discovery and custom demos
Manage hands-on Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase Firebolt's performance advantages
Collaborate with Account Executives to identify opportunities and develop account strategies
Advise prospects on designing modern data architectures for high-concurrency and low-latency use cases
Create technical content such as demos and guides to simplify complex features for customers
Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a related technical customer-facing role
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to optimize queries for performance
Familiarity with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
Understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Excellent presentation skills for effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with databases or AI/ML workflows
Knowledge of performance tuning or indexing strategies in relational databases
Background in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
