(NYC) Well-known real estate-focused publication looking for a highly hands-on Editor to help produce, edit, publish and optimize digital editorial content across web, newsletters, social media and sponsored content. This role is execution-forward, with the ideal candidate one who enjoys moving stories from draft to publication strengthening them through editing, optimization and distribution. The Editor will work closely with the managing editor and editor-in-chief to ensure content is accurate, timely, well-presented and performing across platforms, as well as support new editorial initiatives.

Main Responsibilities Include: Draft, edit and publish digital stories, including features, roundups, news items and time-sensitive additions Execute pre-publication improvement/optimization including headlines, ledes, subheads, images, SEO/GEO, metadata, newsletter copy, CTAs and social assets Build and assure quality of four weekly editions of the publication Manage monthly newsletter from compilation of content through approvals Write platform-specific copy for social media Support sponsored content and advertising workflows Manage freelance writer contracts and addendums Assist with content production and optimization for new editorial initiatives Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include: Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of experience in digital editorial, journalism or content production Experience working in a CMS and with SEO best practices Newsletter and email platform experience such as Marketo Engage Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
